Yeah, I get the design gripes. I remember an old post about the original re4s Leon design, and how the knife holster added to his personality. They gotrid of it in the remake, which detracts from the design for me. Also, Salazar in general has just been downgraded.

personally my biggest gripe with Leon is that i don't like his face 😅 i'm so sorry but i don't. how did his eyebrows suddenly move an inch lower? if you compare him to his re2 model, i mean. idk i'm not gonna start listing every little thing that bothers me but his face is wrong. i don't like it. at all.

and hard yes about Salazar.

I have a head cannon that almost every ink person needs glasses. The only ones that don’t are Norman, Boris, and Susie. All of the others are like, “hmmm, that vaguely humanoid shape must be Joey.” Sammy goes colorblind after dieting in the beginning, so he might as well attack the blur that walks into the village that wasn’t there before.

Final boss Tommy ending idea where Gordon breaks out of Statis, and just tries to get Tommy to calm down. Tommy takes a bit, but just kinda stops. He realizes that maybe chilling down a bit is an option, and he just apologizes over and over, but no one can really put him at fault.

That’s generally the final ending here, yeah. Gordon breaks out and has to be like ‘Tommy, it’s okay. I’m okay.’ And when that breaks through to Tommy, he feels so bad for what he did, he feels horrible that he hurt his friends, he was just as bad now, but they all understand. With Tommy’s Boss Battle Monologue, it’s a lot about how they could do that to Gordon, why they couldn’t just stop hurting him, they didn’t deserve his forgiveness, and it gives them that moment of ‘oh we fucked up’ and Tommy feels bad, but no one’s gonna say that they didn’t deserve that reality check. Maybe not as violent as it was delivered, but still
