Tumblr's flagging system is still fucked up. This post is from 2016, and it has been flagged as adult content in the past, and successfully appealed. And as I was typing this I got an email saying the post was restored because it didn't contain adult content.

You know, I was just gonna let the whole Tumblr Ban thing go, because there isnt much any of us can really do and I find. screaming at a brick wall unproductive.

Then, what do you know, I get flagged.

This ain't the first time, it's happened on main before and far more times on my side blogs, but this is just a simple sketch, on a simple art account. I know it's not a personal attack and it's not influencing this at all, but it still pisses me off.It's just a simple bad sketch of a pose.

And for what huh? For the safety of the site? "No adult content"? "Only acceptable material"?

Even if it were nsfw, I'd be saying the same thing because this is bullshit, I dont care if the bot is still fuckin learning. This whole thing is just ridiculous.

All the porn bots are just using sfw tags and are just as prevalent as they were before.

Why not just run the website properly? Why not WORK to make it safe like they want so badly but keep what made the site good instead of some lazy algorithm? Oh wait, strike that, that'd require an intelligent use of effort

Whatever I guess, like I said before, my complaining will do nothing.

The only reason I'm keeping this blog is out of twisted sentimentality, friends that I don't wanna leave, and a fuckton of spite.

Thank you Tumblr. You have shown you care more about my bad art, suppressing women, artists, and demonizing sexuality then the actual problems.
