This is both brilliant and narcissistic as fuck, all at the same time.

I'm actually quite relieved that this sort of thing is really happening because now every self-proclaimed asshole writer who has ever thought to themselves, "My life story would make make an incredible book someday" will now have the chance to obtain a hardcopy of their failed attempt at "becoming a writer".

I can't even tell you how many people (embarrassingly enough, even some of my own family members) have jokingly/not-so-jokingly mentioned that their life story would make a best-seller someday. Ummm, okay. Unless your story contains some insane twist that leaves you crying your eyes out and re-thinking life and death with glittery unicorns, flesh-eating zombies and the wrath of god killing all of humanity (with the exception of the gays and muslims) then try again. We've already had an obscene amount of Sex & The City renditions and there's only so many rags-to-riches stories we can tolerate, so unless you've got something to say, or in this case- write, that no one else has written before then don't waste your time. I mean, if you don't know how to use "there", "their" and "they're" correctly in a sentence or if you don't know where the fuck that semi-colon goes, then don't call yourself a writer.. Hell, don't even call yourself a blogger.

Truthfully, what I'm really hoping for is that these people actually go through with "publishing" their story, read it in it's entirety and come to the realization that they have the writing skills of a 6th grader and should not quit their day job.
