**One thing about male stereotypes and societal pressure y'all love to talk about is that it's mainly perpetuated by men. How many times have you heard a guy call another guy "gay" for doing something as basic as affection or not being fucking dirty for once? How often do you see the man be the protector (aka the one that's sacrificed in the end) in media and if the son doesn't wanna play the same role as his dad , he's looked down upon? Y'all scream about feminism destroying men and yet can't see the blatant sexism men force upon each other. The "destruction of men" comes from men themselves. Men glorify other men dying, I'm sorry "sacrificing" themselves. Men glorify other men who are dominant, who don't let emotions take over them and as a result you create some violent people. People who become murderers, people who become suicidal, who become abusive, destructive. That is why men are more likely to kill themselves and be more violent than women, among other factors.
And it amazes me that men who get all pissy about feminism ALSO get pissy about men who break try to break gender norms and call them gay. If you don't care about this shit and don't see the problem with this, don't. Y'all can keep dying for all I care, but don't drag the voice of women down because your dad told you not to "cry like a little girl". Fight your own battles and choose your own fate.
**Disclaimer: if you're gonna reply w/ "not all men" , don't bother. I say men with casual generalizations.
