Orion confronting Sirius on the revelation he may be an animagus. I think that's one of the first scenes of yours I read.

my favorite line of yours, which is so dumb, is Draco hating that Hermione feeds him so many potatoes in A Fragile Ascent. Harry brings them groceries and Draco's just like, "I told Potter he can keep the potatoes" or something and it has stuck with me from my first reading. (also this is one of my favorite fics of yours, behind Love and Other Misfortunes.)

Walburga mourning over dead Regulus and stroking his quilt.

A bereft mother pining for her lost child. So tragic 😔 Her final years really were awful. And surely made all the more worse by the fact that she never discovered how he died or had a body to bury.

I love the scene in the prompt your wrote about Sirius' first birthday, where Alphard explains to Walburga what a rattle is lol So sweet and wholesome.

It was actually Orion, but the sentiment still stands. Alphard is the only member of this family who saw the sense in gifting a one-year-old an age-appropriate toy instead of framed artwork and books that weigh more than him xD

The most memorable scene IMO is when Walburga tends for a sick Regulus and chastises him for hiding his sickness. Suck fluff!

That was such a nice scene to write! People kept asking me when I would write some Regulus fluff (almost as much as I asked myself lol) and I decided a Christmas scene would be perfect. Poor boy, feeling like he had to hide his illness because Sirius’s behaviour made him feel like the one the family depended on to uphold their image. He deserved that motherly attention <3
