“Passing through... Going to the store..” She spoke softly, confused as to why the other stopped her then she slowly looked up. Meeting his eyes curiosity glistened in hers.

Under the sunlight’s glare her left eye looked gentle blue and her right a pale green. “... Hey, you’ve got two different eyes too..~” She mentioned with a tilt of her head. A soft smile formed on Ren’s lips, she didn’t seem hostile at all to be honest, but curiosity was obvious in her gaze.

Books were exhausting, but necessary. It was known well to all Magicians of his brand that a sound, well educated mind was your key to surviving. In particular, one needed to be knowledgeable in matters of quantum physics, chemistry, and biology. None of these were particularly easy for Mikale.

But today was a rainy one. Maybe if the weather were nicer than he might pretend going for a walk or out to the shopping center with Satou was remotely productive, but these were not options right now. Rain meant no walks and Satou was taking the time to study. So he too, he reluctantly decided, ought to study as well.

“... But this all looks like gibberish to me.” He was in a bookstore, trying to start his pursuit for knowledge, and already hitting a dead end. As he thumbed through books on physics, he was hit with a horrible realization: He was out of practice and probably had to start reviewing from page one.

“This is worse than rain.” Mikale continued to whisper in a soft but upset voice to himself as he searched for a book he could understand, “And karmic... This is what I get for putting of the bookwork. I’ll do never do it again, I swear..!”

Starter for  memorymxster

Everything was just about prepared for their movie night. They had their snacks and drinks, and sat in the living room, the movie about to start. Kuro took another cheese puff from the bag he was holding, and ate it while looking at the screen. He wondered if the movie would really be scary, or if it would just be more of a thriller type. Either way he was happy to be spending some time away from his place with a friend. 

“Hey, Elias...” he said, looking up at him from his spot on a cushion on the floor. “If you get too scared and need to hold my hand, let me know. I won’t judge. Well, not too harshly.” he teased, with a bit of a smirk on his face.
