Shoot, he wasn’t expecting the other boy to actually take him up on his offer. He knows Kudo Shinichi all too well from the newspaper and reports on television, but he doubts the detective would recognise him at all. 

Now he has to keep up a conversation with a celebrity. “E-er... it’s a card game I really enjoy called Duel Monsters. It’s getting really popular in Japan, but o-of course, please don’t feel obligated to play me,” he stammers, feeling more and more embarrassed with every word.

okay but the farthest right column ignore the first kanji and it looks like ‘no’ and 'hito’ with a line through it so 'no person’ (ik it’s not hito but li s t en ) the 2 kanji look like a person together but i’m reading it as 'no person’ and my mind played out the silliest scenario of a guy pretending he’s not a person by acting casual

Thoughts on the character: Um, excuse you. Have you not seen my own blog? Or the blog for Shinichi I had before this? Have you read my write up about why I chose Shinichi as a muse? I THINK IT’S A GIVEN WHAT I THINK OF MY TRASH SON. Who is also, ironically, me.

Have you interacted before: But of course! And I hope to continue to interact. I still can’t believe you got me to self ship Shinichi.

Favorite part of portrayal: While I tend to focus on the anxiety/guilt ridden/hot mess of emotional turmoil, Llyod’s Shinichi is like... that but also the polar opposite? Like I try to make Shinichi the adorable dork who just wants love (among some of the other portrayals that Llyod has done) but Llyod always manages to succeed in ways that I can’t. Maybe because his Shinichi seemed to learn from his time as Conan, where my Shinichi just found himself even more lost because of it.

One piece of advice: LET ME LOVE YOU T A T

A verse (mine or theirs) I want a thread in: ALL OF THEM. Not that I put up many verses for Shinichi this time around. I have one more I might try and put up but IDK.

Thoughts on the mun: YOU’RE MY CHILD NOW, OKAY? YOU CAN’T CALL ME MOMPEI AND NOT EXPECT ME TO ADOPT YOU. I adore you so much.

((A good chunk of the actual plot is driven by Conan being so active and, in the case of the confrontations between the Org. and FBI, Conan sets some of it in motion with his bugging of Gin’s car. ;) ))
