There’s no need to jog my memory when it comes to my fondness for Brooklyn musician Memoryy, but the ‘y’ loving artist does it anyway, and quite naturally it seems, with No Time Like Now. The recent summer-pop single is Memoryy’s first release in two years, and it’s as infectious an indie/synthpop anthem as it gets with spry youthful bounces and bright synthesizers that rival the vivacious contagiousness of Passion Pit and early MGMT. There’s “no time like now” to throw your hands up in the air and sing along with this sun-kissed frolic! Memoryy, also renowned for writing Chelsee Handler’s theme song, has done it again with his fine return. We can’t wait for more Memoryy to come our way.
