one of my managers broke a register today. After a lot of time fiddling with the screwdriver he was confident that it was fixed again. So later on we’re having trouble scanning a card, and he told be to switch registers. WELL
I walk over to his register, and THE ENTIRE COMPUTER AND SWIPER FUCKING COLLAPSE. like I BARLEY caught the computer screen before it ate tile.
THEN
He walks over to the mess and have the audacity to say. “...You broke it.”
FUCK YOU MAN XD.
Busy Day
Cat- The second show that we're working with, "Sweet Bird of Youth" is opening on Tuesday night. We're just starting tech now, which includes getting things out of the prop sheds and hanging lights. We went in this morning to help set things up, only to discover that the lock on one of the sheds had been changed. So we got to go home until they could find the key.
When I got home (Sabrina went to class), there was a man in my house to fix one of the locks on my roommate's door. A second man came in when he left to fix my ceiling. So, he changed the vent (finally) and left. I came back in and there was gross stuff all over my floor because he didn't clean up after himself. Oh well.
So we went back to school to get things out of the shed now that it was unlocked. It was just a quick run and we're going back later tonight to set things up, since the set has to be taken down every night and the actors need to see where they'll be going.
We got back home and our house smelled like bleach. It was because they cleaned the ceiling of our bathroom, so at least there was no more mold. We're getting pretty sick of the of the problems in our apartment, especially since we're being blamed for causing them. The mold was there because the fan was installed wrong, which really isn't our fault.
Anyway, it's been a hectic day and it isn't over yet. It's also cold and windy, as usual. Cheers!
