MauveCotton - Chapter Two
She regained her footing and looked out her door. Her parents were there. A sweat drop rolled down her cheek, she swore under her breath. But, to be honest, the parents just looked at her oddly and began to walk off, whispering something about 'Marisa's well being and sanity'.
Marisa sighed and looked out the window, mauve staining the blue sky. She wiped the low hanging hair out of her eyes, and turned around to look at the clock. Her eyes widened as she saw the time. "8:30.." she murmured quietly, as she ran for her school backpack and ran out the door, hair blowing in the wind. She hadn't had breakfast, but that didn't change anything. She ran. For school's sake. She flung open the gate and ran into the school building.

I'll post two chapters today, everyone. Sorry for it being so short.
mauve cotton. a new story.
Okay everyone, Mengxiang here. I'm making a story called "mauve cotton". If you like the story, please follow!
Chapter one: The Beginning
Marisa woke up on her left side. As she opened her eyes, she rolled onto her back and sat up. She moved the hair out of her eyes and yawned, pulling the sheets back. She stumbled out of bed with a thud. "Uggh... No school... Yay." She mumbled sarcastically. She liked school, it was her way to see her friends. She was quite lonely, to be honest. She sighed and walked over to her closet, and got dressed into a blue t-shirt and blue cotton shorts.
She walked out of her room, and stopped and turned around. "Oh, a headband." she said, and she tiptoed quietly to her bookshelf. Her bookshelf wasn't used to store books, just random objects. She picked up a blue cotton frilled headband, and put it on. She walked to the mirror and span around, looking at every inch of herself. "I look so pretty today..." she whispered, trying to not wake her parents.
