What’s the difference between Menhit and Sekhmet?

It absolutely depends on how much of soft/hard polytheist you are :)

So Menhyt is a lioness deity, who’s name means ‘She who massacres’. She is a warrior goddess who uses flaming arrows to defeat the enemies of the gods and Pharaohs. She is a local deity, who was worshipped in the South of Egypt as the wife of Khnum and in the North were she was linked with Wadjet and Neith.

Sekhmet on the other hand, is a lioness dirty, who’s name means ‘The Powerful One’. She is a warrior goddess who wipes apart the enemies of the gods and Pharaohs. She is a local deity, who rose to national prominence. She was worshipped most notably as the wife of Ptah, and associated with Mut the wife of Amun at Karnak.

At points Menhit was considered just an aspect of Sekhmet, but at other times they are considered separate goddesses. They can be very similar, but also quite different. More is known about Sekhmet, but some links that might be useful for you when researching Menhyt are;
