How do you worship min and what can he be helpful with in modern times?
This is honestly a very intelligent and interesting question, and I'm very glad you've asked me it.
Min's phallic nature has always been misinterpreted, or rather partially interpreted, as a solely sexual god, and yes, there is an implicit sexual masculine force (which in many cases, has yielded to other goddesses, such as the Sekhmet-Min/Sekhmet-Mut-Min syncretism, which is also ithyphallic, in fact), but it also represents vigor, physical energy, creative power and intimidation.
Since Min is a tremendously protective, powerful god dedicated to protect and fight against baneful spirits, demons and malefic forces, what makes him a smiting or apotropaic god and an invaluable help to those who pratice exorcisms or necromancy (like I do, for example) as well, his vigorous, physical nature makes him a great ally for athletes.
On the other hand, Min is also a god of lightning, a rainmaker, protector of travelers and foreigners, especially those who came from the East, of miners and stonemasons and all those who work in the mountains.
By my side, aside celebrating his feasts (25th December), reciting hymns and prayers and doing offerings (which include lettuce, bull horns representations, bull figurines or phallic items among other things), and considering some of his atributes as physical strenght, creative or generative power and vigor, I also do a lot of workout as devotional act, I help my neighbours with their gardens and gardening stuff whenever I can and consecrate the stuff I make to him.
