My 25 years of palaeoart chronology...
Some zooms into my 2023 illustration of the Hell Creek Formation, featuring ichthyornithean birds, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus, two Acheroraptors, a dead Pachycephalosaurs, Brachychampsa (croc), Meniscoessus (mammal), and Chamops (lizard); from DINOSAUR BEHAVIOUR, by Prof Michael Benton (published by Princeton University Press).
Meniscoessus is a multituberculate mammal about the size of a groundhog from late cretaceous north america. It most likely fed on plant matter, and was probably rather cute.
The small pachycephalosaurid Stegoceras and the primitive mammal Meniscoessus. I don't know exactly what they're doing here. 🤷😂

So I've already posted these (a full year ago) but I didn't understand how to use tags so I'd like to give these picture a formal debut.
This is a little Meniscoessus skull that I cast, trimmed, and painted while working with Triebold Paleontology Inc last winter as an intern. It is an Upper Cretaceous mammal from North America that lived alongside the dear old dinosaurs. I'm very proud of how realistic these turned out. :)
**Please excuse the awful photograph qualtiy, I have a crappy little pink camera. I really need a nice Nikon or Cannon...
