Stegoceras moves carefully through the prehistoric landscape, its small body alert and agile. Known for its thick, dome-shaped skull, this dinosaur likely used head-butting in defense or competition. Day 2 of Dinovember is 😤+🎸+ stegoceras
I just used a color palette one of my friends found/suggested for me that seemed like rockstar colors
Pattern is partly based on the pokemon Cranidos (even though Cranidos is based on pachycephalosaurus and not stegoceras lol)
Day 4
Hey everyone!
Welcome to Day 4 of Dinovember! Today, I'm excited to share my drawing of the Stegoceras, a dinosaur known for its distinctive dome-shaped skull and robust body.
Fun Fact:
Did you know that Stegoceras is believed to have used its thick skull for head-butting? This behavior might have been used in mating displays or to establish dominance!
Thanks for following along! Stay tuned for tomorrow's dinosaur!
Stegoceras
Stegoceras is one of the few pachycephalosaurs known from more than just the skull. It was a small, bipedal dinosaur about 2-2.5 m long, and weighed around 10-40 kg. Stegoceras had a thick, smooth dome on the top of its head with knobs and horns forming a shelf over the back of the skull, and a thick defined ridge above the eyes.
