nah. i find it’s more fun to project onto existing characters than it is to create ‘sonas. canon characters are much easier to share with a wide audience, and i get a kick out of interacting with other fans.

example: most of my blog is me projecting onto peter parker via trans headcanon, so as a result most of my followers are other trans dudes who Also project onto peter parker. using a canon character gave me the opportunity to talk to waaaaayyy more people, and i wouldnt have had the chance to connect with them if i was busy trying to market an OC, ya feel?
