mental distortion, angroma. w mori
the words of the voice hasn’t changed, that tells me that what I am doing now will cause suffering later, but the tone has.
previously, it was judgmental, full of frustration and self-loathing, an undercurrent of “and you’ll deserve to suffer too”
now, it is matter-of-fact. a head’s up. a lawyer sitting down with me to explain the terms and conditions before I sign. “if you keep making this particular choice, it’ll cause suffering later”
it’s easier to make a better choice when it presented as one of many options, with weighed pros and cons. it’s easier to make the choice to step away from suffering when the voice in my head stops implying that I deserve it
Ok then...
... I’m gonna go do something fun in my life, for once.
I can’t be alive, can I?
I always feel dead.
They kind of look like horrible people...
... don’t they?
Paradox?
Sometimes through insanity there is truth.
Honor?
This is why self-destruction and self-afflicted pain is better than the alternative: suffering total disregard of human dignity by the nominal “loved ones”.
Dissonance
Don’t you hear the screams?
Are you sure whose they belong to, yours or mine?
You don’t want to think anymore...
But isn’t this what you wanted?
