words cannot express how excited i am for this fic.
It's totally gonna happen :) I will try not to disappoint!
meme!! #10 because there are so many amazing one liners in your works that i MUST KNOW!
10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you’ve writtenI - ’ve never thought of myself as being particularly good with one liners, but here goes. I’m going to cheat a little bit a separate it into genres:
Serious:“You’d go down fighting,” Germany finished for him, stomach churning as he said it. Was Prussia that afraid of fading away, that miserable in the modern day, that the world ending was a more preferable fantasy?Prussia didn’t turn to look at him, and that was all the confirmation he needed. He cupped Prussia’s jaw, gently turned it until their eyes met. “That’s what you were going to say, isn’t it. Is that what this is about? That’s what you really want?”“It’s all I ever wanted.”
^^I like to think that Prussia doesn’t fear death so much as a peaceful fading away, and I was excited to have a fic to put this idea in.Humor:“That’s not the point. That was bad. But, no. This was afterwards, when you called our boss ‘The Iron Cun—’”“That was a compliment!” Prussia broke in, indignantly. “She’s got the girl equivalent of Balls of Steel. A Brass Pair! What else was I supposed to say!”^^Mildly offensive perhaps, but I like it anyway.
I’m already rambling too long (sorry!), so instead of pulling out the quotes, I’ll just say that I was pretty proud of the ending lines in World 1-1 and Party at a Rich Dude’s House.
