Excuses!
Excuses are just that a little stories we tell ourselves to talk us out of everything from eating better to going to the gym. This week I have had far too many excuses which in turn has caused me to accomplish nothing. For example each night I set my alarm for the gym but when it goes off I talk myself into not getting up. Yes I have been struggling with migraines not sure what is causing them but I need to push through and do the work. Which is the only way I'm going to see the results I want to be able to meet my goals. I can like comment and read every article there is on weight lifting but if I can't drag myself out of bed to do the work the only thing I'm accomplishing is reading and dreaming. Same goes for the food when you choose easy that doesn't always mean good for you. Food prep is your friend and while it seems like a ton of work it was actually only an hour of your night which has made each morning way less stressful. It all comes down to doing the work we can all make every excuse there is for why we didn't reach our goals but the only one that can change the out come is you. So rather than a rant about why I feel squishy exhausted I need to make sure when my alarm goes off at 3:45am I get out of bed to start my day and that when I get hangry I don't just eat cookies and carbs cause they are there. Their would be healthy foods available if I had done my prep work. So today even though I missed the gym my food prep was strong so their are delicious things to eat. I will win this battle!!
