This morning on the 2 train at like barely 7am, this dude was #ranting for 15 minutes about how #War is the #cure for #evil and what #guns are best for killing #immigrants and #terrorists. He clearly seemed #mentallyhandicapped or maybe just #brainwashed but I cut it off after an old lady got up to smack him and then he said, "you see this is what I'm talking about!" I probably should have kept recording but I actually stopped to help.. Blame Game

There is an ironic sort of comfort knowing that the blame game, not taking responsibility and being blind to one’s faults goes back to King Ahab and in truth – all the way back to the Garden of Eden.
2016 saw an escalation of blaming others, while refusing to accept blame for anything, while still screaming for someone to take responsibility. “It’s the governments fault and responsibility!” “No, it all in how children are raised. It’s the parents fault!” “Our school system is broken so it’s the teacher’s fault!” “Actually, the government plays a big role in education, so actually in truth it’s the government’s fault!”
And round and round it goes.
You can insert pretty much any topic into that conversation and be part of the discussion. Now I am not saying one should take blame to play the role of martyr or where one is NOT at fault. But the idea that nothing is anybody’s fault anymore is ludicrous.
Perfect example of this is what is trending in the news right now about the mentally handicapped boy who was tortured by four teens in Chicago, the video of which streamed live on Facebook. We have people saying it’s the parents fault. We have others saying they shouldn’t be tried as adults because they were doing “stupid things” as teens are wont to do sometimes. We have others spewing out hatred toward the teens. We have others saying it was a hate crime as it was a matter of race. It’s like no one with authority quite wants to call it for what it is – the sin of humanity. Evil from four human beings toward another human being.
This isn’t about governments or schooling or race or even parenting in the end. This is about four people knowingly and willingly hurting another person quite brutally and now needing to own up to what happened.
And the blame game needs to sit this inning out.

It’s crazy to me that I have all of these ideas but no way to really and truly express them. My mind is so abstract that moments of creativity are only finite and my muses are the simple elegances in life itself.
