I read this remembering the days I used to torture myself and my body. Between the latest fad diet that NEVER worked, I mean ever. To eating too much and starving myself until I was so hungry I just had to eat something- which usually meant me binging yet again and feeling guilty and beating myself up about it. Yet again! For many years I went through these cycles. Weight loss pills, diet shakes, binging and starving and even attempting bulimia because I just hated looking at my body. So happy and proud of how far my mentality has grown and shifted from these days and how much my body has supported me even throughout all the stress/overload/constant confusion. Our bodies are always supporting us. ALWAYS. Even when we feel like it’s us against our bodies, our bodies are working overtime to try and heal and protect us from the damage we’re putting it through. Send yourself some love and care with proper nutrition, eating FOR your body- not against it and a total mental shift towards food/your body.
