Lent has started. No meat. Last week to eat dairy/eggs. This week's dinner menu:
Pasta (egg noodles) with Alfredo sauce, peas, mushrooms, and onions.
Chickpea curry and rice.
Leek, potato, and turnip soup, with crusty bread.
Pasta with veggies (probably mushroom, zuchinni, squash), tomato sauce
Mac and cheese, green beans
Vegetable pot pie (easy one - frozen veggie mix, cream of mushroom soup, pie crust, bam)
Salad with roasted eggplant, whatever vegetables are left, and all the cheese.
The Gluten Free Menu Plan this week includes a variety of gluten free meals which run the gamut from Beef Pot Roast to Chicken Stir-Fry to Fish Fillets. It even has a TexMex Crockpot meal of Green Chili Pulled Pork on Day 5. Plus, to make this week’s menu plan even better, I have included 2 tasty, but healthful, treats for any family members who might just have a sweet tooth. So, you’ll find some Walnut Muffins and Oatmeal Spice Cookies in the menu plan, too. (Just in case we all need something to snack on. :-) )

Diet menu plans
The Zone Diet is one of the easiest diets to follow , and that match your carbohydrate intake with protein intake , diet menu plans keeping the two in balance. The preferred ratio is 1:1, a protein block coupled to a block of carbohydrates. Block of 7 grams of protein , whereas a carbohydrate block is 9 grams. A good example of a block of proteins is an ounce of raw chicken breast or about 1.5 ounces of sliced misusage . A block of carbohydrates is usually 1 cup of greens , vegetables or fruit diet menu plans. The key is always to combine these two blocks at each meal. Another key is to have 40 percent of complex carbohydrates , 30 percent protein and 30 percent fat in the diet. This is the "magic" formula that helps to make weight loss possible .
Timing is everything
Another key area diet menu plans of diet is when you eat, because the Zone diet keeps everything in your body balanced , which helps prevent hunger. You should eat a diet meal or snack area every 4-5 hours after the last meal of the region, and 2-2 1/2 hours after your last bite of the region, and diet menu plans you should have a snack area 30 minutes before going to bed .
