Thanksgiving

Don't get too excited, I didn't manage to get through the whole process. But for the whole day of Thanksgiving (Thanksgivukkah for us) I spent time with my family, cooked, baked, ate, watched Trading Places, which is one of the two best holiday season movies, ever, and lit the menurkey.

We planned ahead and bought our pecans for the whole season at Berdoll's in August, so we were blissfully ignorant of the whole there's-a-pecan-shortage-and-we're-all-going-to-die excitement. Sorry, folks, but we're having pecan pie at New Year's, too.

Also, this is the best pie crust on the planet.
