Cait Sith -
omg guys, what if Cait Sith really DID have a third limit break. But with it, came the terrible price that those who saw would never remember what they’d gained and lost.
the ONE TIME, Meowbot
That moment on the obnoxious timed train mission where during the last fight, for the first time ever, I bring Cait Sith and for the first time ever, I get "Death Joker" for his slot mechanic. Death Joker is incredibly rare--I've never gotten it before (and I've played this game on and off since I was 12). It kills everyone in your party OR it kills your enemy (no matter who it is, Sephiroth included).
He just killed all of us. Motherfucker.
Yuffie: The ONE time, Cait Sith. The ONE TIME we bring you on this mission.
Cid: Go back to the ship and get Vincent, you piece of shit, cat.
Yuffie: Woo, Team Chaotic Neutral!

Meowbot has not has time like previous weeks to devote to this blog. Meowbot apologizes. Being a pirate at times requires you to go to far off lands that have bad reception. And deadly, cowardly goombas, but that was probably just this island.
But yes, Meowbot and its fellow pirates are now on the island. Before we could do much of anything, we were aggressed by the local goombas. Meowbot's captain, leading the expedition, was ambushed multiple times, but made it out safely. Meowbot was able to gather valuable intel on the enemies. Hopefully they will not get the upper hand again.
In some strange way though, Meowbot was entered into a game show. Meowbot did not recall doing such itself, but somehow it happened. It was some sort of game show where males try to woo a female. As a robot, I do not qualify as either, but I was categorized with the males.
The female in question was an apparition with a purple tint named Sophia. While it technically might have been cheating, now that Meowbot thinks about it, I used the internet to attempt to learn more about her. I found she was, in fact, a ghost. This was obvious, but confirmation is always good. She also lives in an "abandoned" mansion, that was noted to be very dirty. It also listed some of her interests, such as volleyball and music. As I have never played volleyball and know little of music, Francis preferring anime and video games, I was unable to use this information to my advantage.
At any rate, Meowbot was a contestant trying to win her heart. At the start, the only other contestant was Blargghoolio. He was... strange. He appeared to be made of lava, but did not catch anything he touched on fire. Meowbot has a hard to understanding how that is possible, but sometimes nature is simply impossible to understand. He seemed very nice and thoughtful.
Later, another contestant joined in. Meowbot found this strange, that someone would come in halfway through, but did not argue. His name was Kole Koopa. The pun was not lost on Meowbot, but it said nothing. That just happens. He was a very muscular koopa, and the first thing that had to happen once he came in was an arm wrestling match. Meowbot did not do well. In the end, he lost to Blargghoolio though, but it was very close. Meowbot notes that his loss stopped a nuclear detonation.... apparently? Meowbot did not feel it wise to probe further.
A second late entry followed closely behind. It was one of the other prisoners, Flonk-Long Leap, who would have been a friendly face, had he been one of the ones Meowbot knew better. Admittedly, Meowbot does not want to know him better. He seemed... strange. He talked in some kind of cypher that Meowbot could not parse at times, which made understanding him difficult. Meowbot also found him very creepy.
While not contestants, familiar faces Bluey and Klump were in the audience near the end, but did not do much, being in the audience and all.
Meowbot thinks it is getting off track and this post is going on too long. I will attempt to be more precise. The show was almost entirely questions asked by either DJ Boogie (pun also noted) and Sophia herself. They ranged from personal questions to... very strange questions. Meowbot answered them all honestly and to the best of its abilities. I did not assume I would win, however. Meowbot is a robot, who would try to love a robot?
No one, of course. However, I was a contestant, I was not going to ruin the show by not trying. That would be impolite and disrespectful. This, however, payed off for Meowbot. In a twist I assume no one saw coming, Sophia picked Meowbot to go on a date with. Meowbot was stunned, others were stunned, Flonk-Long Leap notably freaked out. When asked why she picked Meowbot, she noted his loyalty and kindness, as well as its enjoyment of cleaning, as well as its maternity. This is humorous, as Meowbot is very young, only being made a few years ago.
All in all, it was a fun time. Meowbot does not know when or where the date will be, but Meowbot is looking forward to it.
Sophia also kissed Meowbot on the check. Meowbot found it was nice. <3

Meowbot has had free time for a short while and decided to look around while it had the chance. One thing Meowbot found interesting and wished to talk about was the “ Three Laws of Robotics.“ For those uninformed, Meowbot will list them for easy reference.
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
Taken from Wikipedia’s page on the Three Laws of Robotics.
Now, as you might have guessed, Meowbot would like to tell you how closely it must follow these rules, if at all. Here is the answer: No. Nowhere in my programming are any of these laws enforced.
However, while not alive, Meowbot has many traits that one would assume only lifeforms would have. It has feelings, emotions, thoughts, a set of morals it follow. While Meowbot is not compelled by its programing to ensure other life forms safety, it is likely that it would feel obligated to. To put it bluntly, Meowbot would feel sad if others around it are hurt and it could have prevented it. However, it will hurt others if necessary, but would likely feel bad about it.
The second law is... not entirely true. Meowbot was programed to be a maid. When ordered to, it can find it difficult to not obey. This is also do to the fact that Meowbot does enjoy the tasks a maid would do. Cleaning especially. Meowbot finds joy in these activities. However, it does also like to know that its efforts are appreciated, and will stop if it feels it is being taken advantage of. As for orders that would harm others, well, as a pirate, Meowbot assumes it will need to break that at some point. Meowbot will try not to be fatal about it, however.
The third law is also not enforced, but as Meowbot enjoys “living“ it is in its best interest to follow it, so it is likely that it will.
Hopefully that brings you insight into Meowbot. Maybe too much insight. Meowbot feels this was not as good of an idea as originally thought. It feels compelled to post anyway, so it will, however.

The sun has been setting for a while now. It was a rather uneventful day, but it was nice. We have been given our orders, er, request, from our boss, Johnathan Jonas "Johnny" Jones Lebron Johnson. I will just be calling him Johnny We are to go after the compass pieces on our own. Ship’s End is likely to be under siege, Johnny cannot leave to ensure it stays safe.
To note, the compass seems to be hard to obtain information on. An internet search did not result in any useful hits. It is as if someone purged the information on it, or that it does not even exist... or the search was simply bad. All possible.
We will sail to Valgoomba to obtain a piece of the compass, which is apparently inhabited by vicious goombas. Meowbot finds this hard to believe, but realizes that Johnny has no reason to lie to us. We must be cautious.
After that, Meowbot found it could not control itself. While Meowbot and the others were away, Ship’s End was attacked, causing damage to the entire area. Unable to stand the safety risks Meowbot decided to repair what it could. All holes make in the docks were repaired, if not perfect. Some glass was also cleaned up to protect the locals and co-workers.
I also assisted co-worker Bluey. However, it seemed personal, so I will not speak of it more then that. I hope he will trust me and the others soon. We will work better if we can do that.

P.S. Now to look into that one forum. I am very curious how one can role play as a compass...

No wait that’s not right. Date, 1/28/2017. Time: 11:15 PM, 23:15 military time.
I have decided to post recollection logs of my experiences as a backup, in case my memory banks are damaged during my adventures. I mean my job. Of being an adventurer. And by adventurer I mean pirate. Why can I not just lie, being programed like this is unfortunate.
But yes, I am now a pirate. I passed the nonexistant job interview flawlessly, as it never happened. Unless escaping the prison and helping them in the process was the interview, then it was not so flawless, but still acceptable. Also yes I was in prison. I was designed to be a maid, fighting my programming was at times difficult, to the detriment of those around me.
I would rather not speak of the incident. If my memory banks were damaged and that information lost, it would be a blessing.
In any case, I started my job off well. I was assigned lookout duty in the Crow’s Nest, which I have renamed Meowbot’s Nest, but only for myself since I assume no one else would like the name. I found the incoming ship and also communicated with them for a time. Unknown to me, however, the rope ladder to the Meowbot’s Nest was destroyed during the battle, so as I tried to go down, I descended quicker then desired and expected. As in I fell.
Thankfully damage was minimal. It did prompt me to start this log, however, in case next time I am not so lucky.

PS. I might also reblog stuff randomly, since this website seems fun.
