Jade is a Selkie. She likes to rummage about ship wrecks and lost luggage in search of treasures and odd human things.  She's one of the few to actually wear any frilly clothes or oddities like 'dog ears' that she may find.

Here she has discovered horn rimmed glasses and is asking tiny Karkles if she could pass as Condy.  (Karkat is holding her normal glasses and telling her she too pretty to pass as Condy.)
