I finally got down to my POBox today and got this amazing order from @dragonnova AH! I love these so much! They are so awesome!

Quick catch-up (because I really picked a wild place to stop last year):

The first “Small Time Ripple” has begun. Donnie creates the Donnie-Pods after realizing, for the first time, that missions can go catastrophically wrong.

Meanwhile, Future Leo wakes up from a dream he can’t fully place; fragments of a past that may or may not belong to him, overlapping with the sound of his present-day brother’s voice.

Next up: Page 1 of Chapter 1, set in the future timeline.

What is Resonance about? I’m confused.

Hi! Thanks for asking! 😊

It's a time shenanigan story, so some of the early confusion is intentional. Also, I'm afraid I haven't been able to update as consistently as I'd hoped because of life events/obligations, so some of the explanations have taken longer to post than I originally planned.

The basic premise is that Resonance is a time-travel/communication mystery very loosely inspired by the movie Frequency. In this story, 16-year-old Donnie develops the Turtlecoms (the walkie talkies most iterations of the turtles have) so the team can stay in contact even if the power grid goes down. Through an 'unusual series of events that I can not reveal yet', present Donnie is able to contact Future Leo.

From there, small choices start creating ripple effects that gradually change the future. As the story progresses, Donnie and Future Leo begin piecing together what's happening, why it's happening, and what those changes might cost.

I'm trying not to explain too much up front because discovering the mechanics is part of the mystery, but I promise the questions are intentional and will be answered as the story goes on. Thanks for giving it a shot! Also that reminds me, I have like 5 pages on my Patreon that I need to start posting here, so I'll begin updating soon!
