hi i’ve come to recommend some fics i like, only 3 for now but i might come by later
1st, “Life is but a game” by DarthDoom15
this fics writing is really enjoyable funny, and takes place before the ms dodds field trip, where the fates decide that percy probably wont survive to the kronos fight with all of it being so sudden, so they make it simpler for him to understand; by giving him an RPG like system!!!
2nd, “One Life, then another” by SpellCleaver
This fic takes place right at the winter solstice where the councils voting to kill percy or not, and this time they choose to kill him. But with percy, things never truly go as planned. So obviously, hyjinx and awesome coolio moments ensue
3rd, “Misaligned Stars” by FictionalDragonMother (you may’ve already seen or been recommended this so my apologies)
This fic. Oh this fic. Its so peak. Ok so mind my fangirling for a second, is just written SO GOOD. ITS SO PEAK. ok back to general description, this takes place in a universe where the gods were cursed to never have proper children, they would always turn to monsters or never live past a few seconds, AND the simple act of even having them CAUSES GREAT PAIN!!!! YAY. anywho, a good amount of demi-gods get thrown in here and kind of have whiplash with these ‘weird gods that care about us???’ thing. anyway they also become small children because the fates said so. its a really funny fic and written amazingly.
also quick question for the end, ik u dont want any crossover fics with things like harry potter, so im just double checking if usernames are ok, i read the thing earlier but i cant double check without trashing the ask ;-; (its not a crossover fic with any of her stuff, the usernames just harry potter related)

Everyone knows that the gods have numerous children. Besides being responsible for controlling aspects of the world, that's what they're known for. Demigods are a dime a dozen, and while the gods do care for their children, we all know that they are willing to send them to their deaths for 'the greater good,' or sometimes just for a chance at glory.
But what if demigods... didn't exist?
What if there was a Pantheon that couldn't have children with mortals, only producing stillborns and monsters?
Faced with the threat of It's world's timeline being destroyed due to this cosmic error, Fate itself seeks to intervene. It tears through reality and snatches away a select few demigods to gift to It's Pantheon, erasing and manipulating the memories of It's most vulnerable chosen, as well as rewinding the years on all that It takes, to help with the bonding process.
This choice leaves 9 demigods trapped in an Ancient Greece that not even they can recognize. Stranded, disoriented, and stripped of their claims, they must tread carefully, for the roaming monsters are not the only threat.
