Every day I say to myself "How can I make this dream wetter?" How do you make a mer wetter? Freeze him.
A very cold Mer Dream who the Magus keeps on a fountain pond outdoors on his estate that is not heated. Hob takes pitty on the poor creature before he's frozen solid with the pond one winter and brings him inside to thaw out.
In this AU Burgess keeps Dream like a sort of exotic pet but also for his scales and his hair and anything else he can take from him which a spell or ritual might call for.
I never posted this miserable little mer Dream I drew quite a while ago. Found it in my drafts in time for Mermay.
