Colored the Mer-Monday Mermaid with a “Succulent” tail (haha) Based off of a beautiful and my favorite plants...the Echeveria Succulents (I couldn’t decide on blue, green, or pink, so I used all the colors in the design)

Shy cactus mermaid. This is the Mer-Monday I drew yesterday. I wanted to color it because 1) I’ve been meaning to color more of my mermaids but I haven’t had time or energy to do that for the past ....really long amount of time and 2) I was afraid she would look like a puffer fish, which isn’t bad, I actually think I  might draw a puffer fish mermaid in the future...but I really did want a cactus mermaid, I was feeling in a weird mood so I wanted to draw a really “different” mermaid and I feel like it didn’t come across as cactus in the sketch without the beautiful pastel greens of the cactus pictures I was inspired by.
