Nyx, my beloved.... the first version being from a better world where they got to learn to be a person at their own pace- instead of literally cutting parts away from themselves to stop being hunted down and treated like a wild animal.
The problem, of course, is that they very much are one after being hunted for so long.
First has them unmutilated, earfins intact and with a healthy weight. Their hair is blue-white and they are resting with ease.
The second, is as they are in reality, a pact marked by the bone 'crown', ears trimmed, weight lost, and of course the big scars. The sealskin they lay on has its visible eye open as well, and the same scars nyx has are mirrored.

Ireena and Zoran as they go into the second to final act of our run of Curse of Strahd. Zoran is going feral and losing his mind to hunger while trying to keep it together for her. Shes doing what she can to keep him grounded.

Anyways. After zoran and Vesper try and kill eachother, Vesper ends up stuck in this timeline and zoran makes it his mission to try and gaslight everyone(including the people who ALSO FOUGHT HIM) into thinking Vesper is his long lost brother and Harmless.
Vesper is not able to access 85% of his magic and is Mad About It while also wondering WHY zoran thought this would be a good idea

Aka my weird horse and his weird horsegirl.
Neither of them are normal and yes the thing pretending to be a horse DOES eat people. Not His Person though, thats his best friend.

Vesper musings- yes he killed his own mother after a very reasonable crashout. While he respects his stepmother, since she wasnt around he feels 100% justified. For reference, Ludmilla is responsible for making Aria(vespers mom) a dhampir while she was pregnant, and by extension Vesper as well.
Aria feeds off of love/the memory of it- and had been using her child as her main food source for a WHILE before Vesper was able to realize it. Aria is the reason he gets a little too obsessive of his best friend and when Things Happen, he blames Aria for fucking with him so much that there were consequences. So he kills her- not too long after Ludmilla finally makes her way back around and catches him in the aftermath.
