Hey, I just thought of something. Remember that when someone lost faith in Merascula's presence, his/her eyes would burn? If that one you had faith on betrayed you, did it count? Because, unless it did, Mera secretly still was loyal to her old captain, also the rest of the 10 commands, or all of their eyes would have burnt. So are they still loyal to Meliodas?
Also, Meliodas' eyes didn't burn either, so he didn't actually betray his kind, since all he wanted was to stop the war, to stop fighting so that he could live peacefully with Elizabeth. When he met her, did he switch his loyalty from the demon king to her? Or was he still in both sides, trying to be in peace? Thanks to Mera's adn Galand's commands, they could have known that Meliodas never wanted to abandon his kind, he just did what he thought was right.
So what do you think? Are the 10 Commands actually still loyal to their old leader? Did they trust their commands enough to understand Meliodas' intentions? I don't know why I'm thinking of this stuff instead of studying, but I don't regret it.
