Not an Anime post forgive me.___.#MerciArsène this came out of absolutely nowhere. Thought it was a hoax but it isn’t. This is absolutely crazy. I’ve wanted him to go, but damn I’m feeling a little emotional rn. He’s the one who got me into football, he’s the one who got me to choose Arsenal. The way Arsenal play football, they way they’ve played for the past 22 years, the philosophy has never ever changed. Maybe should’ve left quite a while ago, since 2014…but it’s hard to let that pride go. I’m in total shock. For all of us Arsenal fans it’s bittersweet. Honestly it’s like losing a father figure, because that’s what he has been for each and every one of us. He carries himself like a gentleman, he talks like one, he never criticised his players (even tho they’ve been shit this season) and I have nothing but respect for him. Lets send him out on a high with a European trophy. Its what he deserves. No banners, no protests, just respect. Thank you for making me love football and love you. I love Arsenal. Arsene is not Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger no doubt made Arsenal into the powerful and respected club it is today.
