Almost constantly in motion
Notice everything when they walk into a room (”Sherlock Scan”), very alert.
Naturally multitaskers and “jacks of all trades”, usually have multiple projects going on. This can escalate into a certain unsteady flightyness
With their quick minds and perceptive senses, they usually notice & understand and may find it hard not to take advantage of that; Likely to grasp an opportunity when they see it
Despite the sunny exterior, they can harbor inward insecurities and be very suspicious - Since they are so very perceptive and at times opportunistic, they tend assume that others see the same opportunities, advantages, details and possibilities, and tend to expect and prepare for scrutiny, supterfuge and competition
needs change, action and variety
versatile: can master multiple disciplines and many different skills
Good with language and storytelling
easily notices the mistakes of others
Deceptiveness & manipulation - at best they understand others intuitively and use that to entertain and serve, but at worst, they can be devious & exploit others with no concern for their feelings
ending up high-strung & suspicious - to the point of seeking costant reassurement
Impatience - toward everyone who isn’t as quick & clever as they are. Might lead to rash, impetuous actions that are poorly thought through
every business where quick thinking & competitive spirit pays off
Showbusiness & anything else that brings a lot of attention: Comedian, actor, singer, acrobat, teacher, politician...
The sort of friend who calls you up a random times and comes whirling in
It might not always be easy to keep up with their drive for action
But: Charming & Amusing companion if you’re up for spontaneous ventures
You don’t want them as an enemy tho, their cleverness in turning an opponent’s mistakes into advantages makes them a formidable foe. Master of the evasive maneuver.
Might project their doubts & suspicions onto you when pissed off
Do not engage in direct conflict, but rather subtle, indirect subterfuge & little damaging remarks
A Mercurial and a Lunar can easily drive each other cray-cray because of the stark differences in temperament and ideal environment.
A Mercurial and a Martial tho might really have great difficulties - Though both might appreciate each other’s action-orientedness and fast decision making, problems arise because neither understands the other’s approach, but wants to control the outcome, each being inclined to distrust the other’s manner
Unsuspecting Venusias, Solars or Jovians are just as likely to find themselves charmed or duped and Martials tend to be open & direct and not expect subterfuge...(Lunars and Saturns tend do bee too cautious for that)
Jovians are the ideal match and likely to treat them in an affectionate, indulgent manner - they love throwing parties and Mercurials like comming to them, plus, they’re both likely to enjoy showing off flashy eccentricisms, enjoy the arts.
If you have one as a friend, you will most certainly not get bored
Keeping up with them might be exhausting, and it’s better not to try - just enjoy the fun & excitement as it comes, and rest in between.
Their charming, cheery manner doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t have a care in the world - they could just as well be putting on a brave front over their inner troubles
Try not to be do dissapointed if they let you down or can’t keep all their commitments - they tend to stretch themselves thin and have a lot going on - They’re not necessarily insensitive and may actually b suffering from having dissapointed you
Don’t expect them to be completely open and candid about everything
Whelp, you have your work cut out for you. Expect all the mischief and make sure to be thorough with the kid-proofing.
For the sake of everyone involved, your kid should have a constructive outlet for their boundless energy. Sign them up for sports or get them a monkey bar.
Once your kid gets to school, you’ll need to be their advocate, as easily bored energetic little mischief makers don’t tend to be the teacher’s favorites, especially not if your public school district is dealing with shortages in funding, manpower and resources.
They’ll need help/reinforcement in being consistent and following through on commitment. They have a rapid stream of different ideas going on and might not know which ones are important - This is where an understanding but firm parent is essential
Be clear & consistent about what the rules & the consequences are, and don’t be charmed or manipulated into lenience by attempts to evade punishment, that’s gonna teach the wrong lesson. Conversely, don’t treat every little lie or misadventure as a mortal sin; It will be much more efficient to show that such behavior just doesn’t work
Instinctual: Suspicious nature can translate into matters of health and safety for themselves and their family. Might be a neat freak.
Moving: Constant motion & energy times two. Fidgets, barely seems to rest at all, might be into several competitive sports, video games or extensive travel.
Intellectual: Can capitalize on flashes of insight and intuitive leaps in academic matters and move quickly into novel fields of inquiry. However, not suited to meticulous research work, ideas fizzle out as fast as they bubble up and breadth may come at the cost of depht.
Emotional: Bit of a vagabond, might have commitment issues in both romance & friendship. Might be suspicious of wether people really like them and have a “Not if I leave you first” mentality. Short but intense entaglements.
