Hi, I know I haven't posted to MercuryClan in a while so let me tell you why that is! My old laptop broke last year, and I had to get a new one. As such, all of MercuryClan's info is gone, and with it, my motivation to keep this clan going. :( A shame, I really liked these guys! But I didn't want to recode all of them.
MercuryClan is now defunct. Deceased (though few of the actual cats are!). Will not continue.
BUT I have a new clangen blog in the works now called @/saffronclan! It won't be up proper for a little bit, once I get things together, but I'm excited all the same. I hope y'all join me for it!
As for the notes I had for MercuryClan, here are some highlights. I played. WAYYY too far in advance dskljfskldjlk
Rainbowpath, Palestar and Frostyfeather all healed well, though the latter two gained scars. (Moon 4)
Mistlepaw was named Mistleshade for their intensity (Moon 4)
Currentpaw had some more cute interactions with Frostyfeather and actually became his apprentice (Moon 5)
Swampstripe adopted a kit: Gravelkit! (Moon 5)
A cat named Fumblegrass joined (Moon 6)
Snailshell got injured while out with Fumble and Cherryleaf (Moon 6). thanks past me for not saying what the injury was. really helpful
Frosty is just a really good mentor (entire duration of Current's apprenticeship)
Lakewater and Cherryleaf go on many patrols together, the former gaining a massive crush (Moon 7 initially, others onward)
Snailshell died of her injuries :( (Moon 8. This came into play later.)
Gravelpaw got apprenticed to Cherryleaf (Moon 8)
Palestar lost a life to a dog (Moon 9)
Rainbowpath retired to the elders den. (Moon 9)
Palestar got injured by ANOTHER dog and also felt the weight of leadership crushing her (Moon 10)
Glowfish splashed water on Lakewater on patrol and they were adorable. I'll miss this funky aunt and nephew dynamic (Moon 10)
Fumblegrass saw a StarClan spirit (Snailshell?) (Moon 11)
Currentpaw is named Currentsong for her wit (Moon 12)
Rainbowpath gave Mistleshade some cardinal feathers (Moon 12)
Gravelpaw tried to talk to Cherryleaf about strange dreams and he dismissed her. He has a decent bar of dislike for his apprentice. (Moon 12)
Gravelstep is named for her Responsibility. (Moon 13)
Swampstripe is found dead in his nest one morning, having died in his sleep. Both his daughters (Current and Gravel) grieve. (Moon 13)
Cherry is gay for Lakewater some more. (Moon 13)
Mistleshade and Fumblegrass found an injured loner on the thunderpath named Pikachu. (Moon 14)
Cherryleaf and Glowfish invite a loner named Nirvana into the clan. (Moon 15)
Fumblegrass flirted with Frostyfeather during training. (Moon 15)

Gravelstep is MURDERED. Cherryleaf doesn't understand why everyone is mourning despite her literally being his apprentice. The high hate bar he had for her says a lot. (Moon 18)
Lakewater meanwhile is deep in grief for Gravelstep. (Moon 18)
A cat named Aidan joined, but died the next moon of her injuries [head damage from thunderpath]. (Moon 18)
Palestar got bit by a fox trying to steal prey, it got infected next moon. (Moon 19)
Lake gets a StarClan vision (Moon 21)
Palestar loses a life from infection. (Moon 22)
Frostyfeather retired, Glowfish was named deputy (Moon 23)
Lakewater, despite liking Cherryleaf a lot, rejects his confession. (Moon 24)
Palestar lost all of her remaining lives to old age. Way to go grandma. (Moon 25)
Glowstar is named leader, Cherryleaf is her deputy. (Moon 25)
Lakewater is deep in grief for Palestar. Man loves his clan. (Moon 25)
Cherryleaf convinced Nirvana to hunt near twoleg dens, getting the warrior captured in the process. (Moon 25)
So yeah! The evil in the clan was Cherryleaf :) He murdered Gravelstep, caused Snailshell's death, and lead Nirvana to getting taken by twolegs. All while having a will-they-won't-they relationship with Lakewater! What a bastard <3

Behold Cherryleaf! A former "mouser" on a boat, he's eager to show MercuryClan what he's capable of! He won't say what happened to his old twolegs or boat, but he refuses to take his collar off. (40 Moons at arrival!)
