Announcements and Updates
Hey guys. This past week has been a bad one. Without getting too personal, I got injured pretty severely and am just now getting on the up and up again. To keep everyone updated, here are some announcements:
1) It seems that throughout that time, I missed mercykill week... I was really looking forward to it, but alas the world had other plans. I still want to draw a few of the prompts for my favorite couple for my own pleasure. So look forward to that!
2) That being said, I will still attempt to finish all of the requests you have sent! Just give me time.
3) I had been working on The Cost of Kindness fairly diligently before all of this. And just when I thought I could see the light, Blizzard decides to throw me another wrench. You know what I’m talking about... Moira. It might be an unpopular opinion, but I strongly dislike this character. I’m sure she’s fun to play, but her BACKSTORY. Honestly, Blizzard seems to be grasping at straws. It’s pretty much a carbon copy of mercy’s but edger. I love these heroes because of how diverse and creative their stories are! Although recently, I just get more and more disappointed with the changes they’ve been making... The in-game interaction between Mercy and Reaper (“What happened to you?” “You tell me, Doc.”) was there for a reason! But, I digress. What does this mean for The Cost of Kindness? I can say that it heavily impacts my story. I have been working on my fic for a year now and had planned everything out to a T. But now, I am uncertain. I have gone back and forth the past few days if I would include this new character or if I would stick to my original ideas. I have come to the conclusion that I will do BOTH. Due to the nature of the lore, I am flexible and pride myself on how close to canon my fic is. So it seemed like the obvious choice is to compromise on both angles. Do not worry, however, it will be quite a while before you will see her (which gives me more time to contemplate the perfect entrance). You can expect a lot of twists and turns from here!
Thank you for being patient and understanding of my circumstances. I will update soon!
