P, Merida and Eret. Just as friends, if you prefer. (You did ask me specifically for a request, you shouldn't be surprised...)
(lol XD i guess I shouldn’t. And since I don’t know the ship very well i’m gonna do friends because i dont have an idea of their relationship would be like?)
“Eret. Eret you missed the turn.”
“I know exactly where I’m going, Mer. Don’t question my abilities.”
“This is literally the first time you’ve ever driven a car and you’re 26 years old. Listen to me, I’m your instructor. You. Missed. The. Turn.”
Eret looked sideways at the Scottish redhead next to him, trying to work out exactly what she said through her lilt. Even though they’d been friends for a year now he didn’t always know what she’d said.
“I’m a hunting guide, I think I know where I’m going,” he argued.
“You know how to find your way in the wilderness but you have never been on an actual road,” Merida groaned. “Seriously, why did you choose to live off the land after you got out of college?”
“Because it’s fun. You get to do things mostly for yourself and it works out great.”
“And up until now you’ve been close enough to school that you can walk but now you have an ACTUAL JOB and you have to DRIVE,” Merida shot back at him. “Look, you missed another turn. Just listen to the GPS.”
“Its voice is so annoying though,” Eret whined.
“Listen, I don’t care that I’m eight years younger than you, I know how to drive and what to do while driving and YOU don’t. The most you know how to drive is a typical bike, and even then you’ve only been on one of those twice.”
“Actually, exactly six and a half times.”
“Six and a half? Eret, what the–”
“I got on it halfway and then it fell over and so did I.”
Merida suddenly shrieked and Eret put on the brakes, realizing that the back bumper of another car was too close for comfort.
The sickening crunch that came next made Eret cringe. Merida sighed hotly and put her face in her hands.
“You’re lucky that car’s an old one that’s been put on this course to test your abilities at looking at the road while you’re driving.”
“Hey, to my credit, you were talking to me!” Eret countered.
“You’re supposed to be able to hold a conversation while watching the road, you moron!” Merida replied. “Like I said, you’re an absolute mess.”
