2.do any of your characters have magical abilities? what kind? Most, if not all, of my protagonists do! Aisling and Eshkan have elementalist magic, Eiridan is a Necromancer, Morwenna is a Sea Witch, Thyia is a Navigator, Leucos is a MapMaker...

6.are there different creatures in your world? what kind of creatures? DRAGONS! Also those boney-creatures who are named “Creatures” for now :p

20.are there pirates? what role do they play in the story? I have an entire BOOK dedicated to my pirates! That’d be Morwenna, Thyia and Leucos’ story! In other books, the Travellers/Voyagers are the equivalent as the only ones to sail the sea.

10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?

- for DCTV - “love is how you stay alive” because I was very inspired by wanting to know how an important character reacts to something major that had happened in canon.

-for AoS - “a beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight” because I love writing Skimmons and find writing Daisy very easy. 

18. Do you use any tools, like worksheets or outlines?

-For longer and or more involved fics, I like to use outlines to figure out what is happening when. In general, I’m not sure you’d call notes a tool but I love to write down random thoughts, ideas, plots and even lines of dialogue then go back to them later to see what will fit in the story. 

37. Talk about your current wips.

-Well, I have a Pipsy (Daisy x Piper from AoS) first date fic that I’m setting in my Daisy and Jemma Take the City verse which is a college au. In this fic, the ladies go on their first date at a diner while looking fabulous. 

I also have a DCTV Battle of the Network Stars AU between members of Team Legends and Team Flash + Laurel. I just really got obsessed with the show this summer and thought it would be a lot of fun to apply it to the DCTV universe. Here’s a thing I made for it. 

I also have a Ray Palmer angst fic that’s pretty random and I’m not sure where I’m going with it.

However, Silver had to admit that even Jack couldn't be blamed for the existence of soulbonds or the soulmarks themselves. Since time immemorial the sigils had appeared on the majority of people's skin, almost always at some point during puberty, finally becoming fixed at around seventeen years of age. It sat just below the back of the wrist, where a watch face would hide it if you wanted.

I have the PiratePrompts2016 meme bookmarked at AO3 but wondered 1) is it still open for fills if I get an idea for a prompt 2) are you planning to open a 2017 one for new prompts (maybe importing unfilled prompts) and/or 3) you mentioned running the next promptfest at DW (which I'd like a lot :D)

Firstly, a billion apologies for taking forever to reply to this! I really don’t have an excuse, I’m just awful at these things.

Anyhow, to answer your questions:

1) Yes, the Pirate Prompts meme is still open for fills and it will remain so, probably forever! So folks are free to submit fills to prompts already up there. However, new prompts are closed now and will remain so.

2) I am not, because of 3 –

3) Yes! It’s already been open and I need to put links to it on the AO3 Pirate Prompts page and advertise it more here, but.. Basically, thanks to @lordnochybaty, who started this thing and did mostly all the work a while ago, we now have the Black Sails Kink Meme on Dreamwidth! It’s already running and there’s already some great prompts and fics up there. So feel free to head over and contribute or to re-post any of your Pirate Prompts.. um.. prompts there. They don’t need to be smutty either, they can be anything.
