i have WAY TOO MANY. and it's inconvenient having to explain all of them to people all the time. so i am making a masterpost! they will be separated by au, as i have two of them.

au: the prince of eden

500 years after the first skykid came to the kingdom of sky, darkness is beginning to spread once again. Four children are given the task to purge it, but there is sabotage at every step, and a lot more to the truth than expected.

there is a sequel idea being planned. ages will be shown for that as well. there are not many details for this yet, but i can answer some questions!

MAYHEM

he/him, 18-22

(somehow) the protagonist of this au. self-centered, emotionally uncaring, and highly aggressive, mayhem is training to become an athlete at the valley. due to an accident, his light is ten times stronger than any other skykid, making him a powerful adversary and also very full of himself. many consider him attractive, only feeding his ego even more

he/him, 19 (technically 119)

the titular prince of eden. he ran away from his abusive family to be an actor with the performance spirits, and left to fuse his existence with the storm itself 100 years before the story begins. usually polite and somewhat agreeable, he is easily upset by reminders of the past. he is also trapped in eden, but can attack the kingdom through shard eruptions

RINGER

he/him, 12/13-17

an aspiring vault scholar who travels the kingdom to ring the bells found in ruins. he is gentle, sweet, and friendly to all, making him easy to love. he has a self-sacrificial streak in him, though; he would happily hurt himself in the name of duty or the light. he has a pet butterfly named viv, and has spoken face-to-face with megabird herself

VEGA

she/her, 16-20

mayhem's cranky cousin. born with a weak core, she was trapped in aviary for most of her life, making her resentful and irritated. she is often snippy and cross, but can be very excitable if you get to know her well. she loves fashion, music, and the theater. currently, she makes candles, but hopes to one day join the performance spirits' acting troupe.

SESHA

she/her, 14-18

mayhem's sister. more collected than her brother, but can be just as violent as him when angered enough. she is often very quiet and serious, but often gets irritated with mayhem's chaos and tries to boss him around to get him to stop. she studies under the prophets, as she is training to be one herself (though she's not happy about it)

ZUMI

she/her, 9-13

a young girl found by mayhem and his friends. she is a wild, exciteable child, always looking for a chance to show off her pet crab, mister cuddles, and always trying to cause (harmless) problems. she has a hyperfixation on bugs. orphaned from a young age, she ran from moominvalley and now lives with the assembly spirits

ARUM

he/him, age unknown

tsadi's second-in-command and current commander of the wasteland's army. he is usually stony and solemn, but often behaves in erratic, violent ways. he is a vessel for the ancient darkness, and credits himself with using the king to create the storm. he is also a shapeshifter, and while he usually takes on the form of a krillkid, he can appear as anyone, from a little child to the elders themselves

GRIMM

he/him, age unknown

captain of the group of soldiers at the citadel, he is incredibly relaxed and approachable, but isn't afraid to cause a little chaos from time to time. he was sent down by megabird herself to keep arum's darkness from spreading too much, and to always be ready to guard the light incarnate: the spirit aurora

au: meri and friends

a child of light is created from the ocean's light with the purpose of discovering the kingdom of sky's past. but the people who surround her unwittingly hinder her, and the king himself is working to make sure she does not learn the truth.

MERI

she/her, 16

a child of light created from the ocean. she is childish, friendly, and curious, always willing to make friends or eat the newest thing she's found. she wants to know more about the kingdom, but has had little luck finding information

MEKIBE, OR KIKI

she/they, ~500

meri's guardian and the sole survivor of the last city's collapse. once a gardener before the kingdom fell, they are now a recluse living in aviary, feeling out of place with the rest of the world. they are incredibly protective of meri, not wanting meri to get hurt by the horrors of eden or for meri to unearth the painful memories of the past

KELP

he/him, 18

he was created by the stars to be meri's companion, but was struck by a shard in the shoulders on his way down. he is more animal than skykid, acting like the krill and crabs of the wasteland. he was found by resh, who forcefully taught him how to act like a person, but he couldn't stop kelp's animalistic violence or break his cold, detatched personality. he also has a harpoon gun

ENNA

she/her, 14

meri's best friend. she is exciteable, cheery, and just as curious about the past as meri. she is mute, only speaking through magic illusions, gestures, and "emotes," as meri calls them. she has a small interest in fashion, and has a particular interest in learning more about mekibe

ADAR

he/him, 20

a furniture-maker who mekibe's sole connection to the outside world. he is the one who found meri when she was created, and is fiercely protective as a result, willing to do whatever he thinks is needed to keep her safe, for better or for worse. normally a gentle, friendly person, he is savage when provoked.

ASUKI

they/them, 15

a former krillkid who purged most of their darkness through ascension and a friend of adar. they are incredibly shy and easily scared. people are wary of them due to the horns and tail remaning from their purge, and they try to show their good intentions by running a tea stand that adar helped them make. fear can cause them to revert to krill behaviors, and sometimes cause eden to act up

I have redrawn an old Meri drawing from ages ago!! I thought it'd be fun to draw this in my new design for the little lady, kept the attitude that she showed in the first rendition of course.

I'm really happy with how this turned out!! I hope all Meri fans enjoy this too!

SCP 166 yap that 8 people wanted

Meridiana (or Meri, for short) Is naturally shy and kind of awkward, as she grew up in a literal nunnery. She likes to draw and paint and does so often. Her religion is a massive source of comfort to her, and she might spend a hour praying every day. Meri’s ability to degrade man made objects can be controlled by a collar similar to one reality benders might wear, and she can control what plants grow where. 

In interacting with other humanoid scps, she is kind, if a bit timid. TJs (590) unofficial babysitter and Iris’s (105) best friend. (Iris has a crush on her, but she is oblivious) Between her abilities to grow plants and her biblical knowledge and faith, she is the only one who can mediate Able and Cain in the unfortunate incident that they interact. She pities Able, and is friends with Cain, after she got over her initial fear of meeting who she believes to be the first murderer. Cain thinks that she could reverse his curse, but will not ask her to do so, as if she could that would prove she’s more powerful than a curse put by God.

Meri doesn’t blame her father for killing her mother. When she was 17 she got nightmares of a dark figure detailing her ability to end the world in service of the Scarlet King. They eventually stopped after Meri decided to confront the figure. This was the only time ever she told anyone to ‘go to hell’ She was able to connect the dots with the letter she got, and refuses to tell anyone about her dreams. After this incident, Meridiana started working to control her abilities more, to prevent doing anything she would regret. 

Meridiana adores her father unconditionally, and Clef adores her right back. The 05s approved an hour and a half of interaction every day, and junior staffers know that if you want an experiment approved, go to Clef right after that time. Meri and TJ have been branded ‘nepo babies’ by other anomalies, but she doesn’t mind.
