BBC Merlin 5x04: How Morgana caught Merlin

This came to me in a blinding flash of clarity. I used to think that Morgana had merely suspected Merlin before following him to the river. 

But no, Morgana actually guessed what Mithian had planned. Prior to the scene above, Mithian had told Morgana that she was going to wash. But in the above scene, she saw Mithian offering Merlin her waterskin for refilling. 

Why would she need Merlin to refill her waterskin when she had just been at the river? 

So that was why Morgana decided to follow Merlin.

Just watching Merlin 5x04 and omg when Arthur told Mithian and her dad to go ahead with the rest of the knights and then he automatically took Merlin with him without having to utter a single word. Can I just say, husbands!!!!??!!????! 😍😏 And then in 5x05 after Arthur rides away from Camelot and Gwen calls Merlin back to tell him to protect Arthur, Merlin rides back to join Arthur at the front, like they're spouses. 🥴🤧🤧🤧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
