Anyway there was mention about an apple tasting disgusting. Allegory to the Apple of Eden, and how tasting that apple which gave humanity higher cognition also doomed us forever in sin, hence that apple, the original sin, would taste disgusting to those forced into it’s boundless knowledge. They live in the real world, Minecraft is a video game, but one that now holds a dark secret.
1:06:30 commentary: Wow that didn’t take long. But seriously thank you for this specific exploration montage. It shares A LOT of information. Not just about the world, but about D3rlord3 himself. This, much more than the cipher from the first part, is what convinces me that he’s a genius. Because of how you can clearly see how he thinks through a problem. He doesn’t panic when things change, he tries to find out why. He experiments, testing each of his options and figuring out why exactly it changed, if there’s a pattern, what pattern, what causes breaks in the pattern, why? He’s constantly learning about what’s around him and that is why he’s smart. Yes its interesting that this place has rules, but it’s fascinating to see how two different characters (written by the same person) navigate the same scenario. The difference is staggering.

The previous D3rlord3 A: gave us this link, B: wanted to tell Avery to get out but knew he would stay anyway. This Avery though? Seems wholly unprepared for any sense of danger but just wants to explore deeper. No sense of unease or concern. Hell not even extra concern for D3rlord3.

HE probably wants D3rlord3 to continue deeper, but you don’t need to send fakes. D3lord3 has already proven more than willing to continue on his own. My conclusion was based on the fact that the fake said he wanted to “continue exploring” and where better but the giant tree. But also there is the element of reverse psychology. This misdirection being the most efficient way to convince D3rlord3 to continue.

The dehumanization tag on Ao3 grew five times, and it was just- it was really really dark. Nothing about the body, everything about the mind. That combined with divine afflictions… no wonder Avery was affected like that. No wonder D3rlord3 isn’t. D3rlord3 still feels like he’s got drive behind him, something to work towards and live for, even in his current situation. Avery… he feels like the opposite. Someone whose hit rock bottom and doesn’t know how to climb his way out.

Beyond the grand, Godslaying stuff, I feel like this is a story about living, and the impact people can have on your life. Avery went from having nothing, to a simple couple words being enough to drive him forward. D3rlord3 nearly gave up hope before the thought of saving Avery pushed him to break the game in his favour. It was D3rlord3’s will that broke the King in Yellow, and it was D3rlord3 who chose to sacrifice the Knight to save the King in Green.
Idk I feel like I’m just rambling now, but this story really touched me. I enjoyed all three hours of my 2 hour long video lol. I can’t wait to see the behind the scenes I’m frothing at the mouth I wanna find out how you made all of this possible. Tbh I didn’t even expect a second video, even though you did promise a part 2. It’s cool to see the story’s conclusion (that will not stop the fandom I think they’re gonna move to modern world type content now tbh) but I love the journey to get here.
