Day 1: Space 5/1/18

#snihplodart #mermay 2018 #mermay #mermaycatadu #beandoodles #beanoriginal #mermaids #merfolk #space #i originally meant for this to be the other way around #upsidedown #but the entire time coloring it i had it this orientation #then i signed with this side up #then i turned it upsidedown and decided it looked better this way anyway #so i literally did not know what i was doing for the background #despite knowing i wanted that galaxy clouds on steroids feel #so i kinda vomited color until it looked somewhat passable #actual mermaid took like 3 seconds #omfg

tis mermay and I have like four tabs pinned with different prompt lists to choose from. This one was actually inspired by a @drawing-prompt-s that was to take something from space and make it a mermaid. Comets seemed the best for it.
