6.) Whats the most annoying quest in your favourite fallout game?

So I’ve only been able to fully play through NV, and I would have to say that the reptcon (sp?) quest with the ghoul cult is my least favorite. I couldn’t tell you why, it just feels like it drags on to me.

23.) Whats your all time favourite weapons in the series?

I’d have to say just a plain old sniper rifle or This Machine. The first because its fun to make a game of popping off targets at a distance, and the latter because it comes from my boi and is actually really fun to use.

27.)  What is one thing that really bugs you that you would rewrite/change about one NPC/Companion?

I KNOW I have a thing for this. I do but I can’t think of it so I am going to default to my Joshua/end of Honest Hearts rewrite. So I have to agree with @yesjejunus that Graham is the type of guy who does whatever he wants when he’s determined, and he was damn determined to kill Salt Upon Wounds. But, I also think that the ending choices should be switched.

If you try and convince Joshua to spare Salt (pass the check), he will pause, but do it anyway, and resent the Courier for trying to get between him and his goals, and trying to control him. He becomes more stubborn and convinced in his ways, because no one will ever ‘control’ him again (I see him as blaming what he does regret about Legion on Edward influencing him) and you get his Bad Ending where he is once again a ruthless warlord. 

If the Courier says go for it, he does so but feels unsatisfied afterwards. In his ‘good’ ending he realizes that nothing will satisfy that drive for revenge except for killing Edward himself. Because of this, he keeps himself...as ‘in check’ as you could get.

11. when, why and how did they become a courier? how long did they remain a courier before benny shot them?

Jackal became a courier after shifting between a variety of jobs for a few years, some more legal than others — caravan guard, bandit, mercenary, conman, and smuggler were all titles she held at one point or another. A job with the Mojave Express just kind of fell in her lap. She took it because it paid pretty well and it gave her an opportunity to travel, all without feeling like she was disappointing her parents. Being a courier was something she really enjoyed, and she did it for about four years before Benny shot her.

Okay! I’m going to give you a little (read: a lot) backstory!

If you’ve read my short opening for her here, then you’ll remember that she has a family and a relationship before being shot by Benny.

She meets her boyfriend, Andrew, about a year before the attack. They meet on one of her deliveries and he admires her courage and tenacity in traveling the wasteland for others. He also is enraptured with her want to go out and be more than a farmer or a mercenary, respects that she doesn’t want to be a ‘stay at home person’.

In return, Riley admires his willingness to respect her decisions. His understanding and support with her being gone for weeks at a time. But it’s this freedom that worries her when she realizes that she’s probably going to die. The knowledge that her wandering and impulsive behaviors may mean that Andrew never comes looking for her, may just assume she got bored and left him, makes her realize that maybe she should have been more invested in keeping her friends and family aware of where she is.
