Sausage and Broccolini Spaghetti 1 lb Italian sausage (chicken option from Whole Foods) 1 box spaghetti 1 bundle broccolini 1 onion (chopped) 3-4 cloves of garlic 1 tbls chicken bouillon 1 tbls butter 1 tsp brown sugar Salt, pepper, evoo to taste . In a large sauté pan over medium warm the evoo. Add garlic and sauté until golden brown about 2min. Add chopped onions and sauté until soft and beginning to caramelize, season with salt, pepper, chicken bouillon and brown sugar, about 15 min. Add sausage and cook slowly, breaking down the sausage with a wooden spatula until brown. . Meanwhile, bring a large pot 3/4 full of salted water to a boil. Add the broccolini and lightly poach, about 3 min. Remove the broccolini, do not drain the water, to the same boiling water add the pasta and stir well, cook al dente about 10-12 min. . Drain the pasta and return the pasta to the sauce pan with sausage and broccolini. Add butter and toss lightly incorporating all of the ingredients on low heat. Voila! Enjoy! .
