Lt. Torunn Sigridsdottir

A K9 unit police officer with a specialty in Search and Rescue, Torunn and her St. Bernard, Princess Sniffersnoot (Princess for short), are an occasional sight in the park, always working with one of the veteran rangers when she's there in an official capacity.  She works under Sheriff Valor, and the two of them have an amicable working relationship.

Princess Sniffersnoot is trained in a morbid, but necessary, specialty of Search and Rescue - HRD, or Human Remains Detection.  This isn't the only role she's capable of, to which Torunn is grateful, but one of importance.  Unlike Kenzie or Ed, she doesn't have that sixth sense of *knowing* when something's off that comes from ranging the park for so long, but she learned incredibly quickly to trust them implicitly.

So much so, nobody is sure if she's just playing along or genuinely believes that the cardboard cutout of Woody Smolder wards off bad spirits from her boss' car.  But damned if it gets in there when the doors should be locked.

Both Torunn and Princess have a fondness for Ed’s style of sandwiches, and she is known to bring some with her when she’s not on duty.
