Hello- so, despite the obvious sorrow over losing our beloved fish dad, I have a few things to say:
First of all, this was actually the first lore that made me cry. Something so special about these seemingly silly on the surface minecraft stories is the fact that- well, they're not silly. at all.
I myself have issues with my father. Getting to hear Morgan be so positive and loving towards his children, even complimenting their work, how much they've grown- that means so much more than any simple "I love you". Because it has weight. You can tell Morgan truly cares by the way he listens. His concerns, his outpouring of love.
Additionally, we wouldn't have Morgan without his kids, of course.
Faye is a character I adore so much. Ocie mentioned the bit of struggle that Faye has within her, Undiagnosed ADHD. Faye's more aggressive in her love, but it fits her so well. She's silly and playful but she cares. And she knows when things are meant to be taken more seriously. That, and knowing that, demonstrates the depth within Faye herself- and she's such a wonderful character
I also hold Theo in my little hands- he's a serious character, and his struggles, though not the same as mine, have helped me work through those which are mine far easier. Tendencies of anger, debating what my own gender is, etc- his own journey with learning how love works, one I'm going through right now with my boyfriend.
Overall, this is my long-winded way of saying:
Thank you, Heyhay, Ocie, and Connor, for telling this story. It's been amazing.
And I can't wait to see what is left for the seablings with these last few weeks
