Mescalero Apache Medicine People – Guardians of Tradition

Among the Mescalero Apache, medicine men and women hold one of the most sacred responsibilities in their communities. They are not only healers but also spiritual guides who protect ancient traditions and ensure that ceremonies are carried forward with respect and integrity.
