Fuck it, dandelion and one (1) MESQUITE BEAN time. Anyway I’m giving them their own post for anyone who might want to try to make food with dandelions, and jelly with mesquite beans, and found some good videos.

I was sad when Gus the horned toad vanished in late summer, but happy when tiny little horned toads turned up in the yard a few weeks later.  Mini-Guses!

At dusk, after a monsoon storm, we saw this tiny bunny in the yard.  It was smaller than a mesquite bean, so I named it Mesquite Bean.  As the rain stopped, it hopped across the driveway and disappeared into some tall weeds.
