I tried seeing if there was any potential dialogue about it. No luck.

I do wonder though if Cooler would hate his Meta-self. While Cooler is in no way against fighting his own kind either, I doubt he'd go as far as Meta-Cooler did. Meta-Cooler in-turn could see his old-self as inferior, based on what we get from him in Xenoverse 2:

"So you are a descendant of my own race... Hmph! You look primitive compared to me. We are no longer related to your kind. We have evolved into an entirely new race. I see nothing but shame and embarrassment when I look at you. However, I will gladly use your energy to fuel my own ascension! If that makes you angry, then you should be angry at your own misfortune for being born into my race!"

Could be that the family/clan line still doesn't get crossed as easily with him, but I don't know...
