Students got to meet Josiah Zayner, Oxford NanoPore, and Ron Shigeta covering the cutting edge of genome editing, high throughput sequencing and #metabolicengineering. This year SynBio is continuing at Laney! We are partnering once again with Josiah and The Odin to bring biotech to all our students. Start with Bio 75 “Fundamentals of Biotechnology” to get caught up on the basics of working in a lab. Tuition is less than $100. With our new ‘lab at home’ curriculum, Laney loans equipment for you to learn. More guest lectures and lots of attention from the professor and TA.
