Metalrealm Intelligence Service, commonly known as MIS, is the intelligence service of the Metalrealm, the seventh main realm in my MK AU, tasked mainly with gathering intelligence and working with partners interdimensionally to protect the Metalrealm’s interests, values and security overseas, and achieving economic, diplomatic and technological advantage. Most of what this organization does and the identity of those who work for it remains a secret.

Abilities
MIS uses Metalrealm’s technology enhanced by metalbending abilities. Some key weapons/tools they use include:
The resonator
A headset worn over one eye, allowing the user to gauge emotional signatures and transfer data. If threat level is above 100, sodium/potassium threads are enabled to start emotional paralysis. This version can only be used by sodium-benders and potassium-benders.
Another version which is used by iron-benders, enables iron threads that can vary the blood pressure of the target, also their brain’s magnetic field. Other magnetic metals can also use this, without the blood pressure effect.

Ombra’s role
After Ombra became the new chief, she carved a path for half-metalrealmers to join the system, making beneficial use of their biological advantages to pure metalrealmers. The most important one being their capability to bend any object/thing containing their specific metal, not limiting to pure pieces of metal. This also allowed scientists and technologists to come up with enhanced and more efficient tools and weapons. Of course, this is in conjunction with her overall strategic and analytical advantage over the previous chief.
But Ombra is not a law abiding chief. She oversteps. She stretches her hand as far as it can go to gather information and manipulate it. She has sent spies to other realms, looking forward to insert intelligence domination. She intervenes in Metalrealm’s media, manipulating what’s broadcasted, which celebrities get the spotlight, pulling the threads to make sure people want the “right” president, etc.
