Idiot.

Times like this, Al really wished that he had been built a bit taller. Standing on his tip-toes, he tried to reach up and pry open a window on the side of the building, opening into the office-space of the garage (which he had long since renovated into a home). He had gone and locked himself out of his own damn house again, which only ever got more embarrassing each time it happened.

“For fuck’s SAKE,” he groaned, turning to look for a bucket or something to stand on- anything that would make him even just a bit taller so he could reach the latch. It was then that he realized he had company. He froze up, staring directly at the stranger on the road. Oh no. “...I LIVE HERE!” He yelled, impulsively. Last thing he needed was somebody thinking he was trying to break into his own home- well, that was exactly what he was doing, actually.
